1868, 2 1/2 c. blue, the famous block of four, positions 4-5 / 10-11, with remarkably good impression, large margins on two sides, just touched in small place at left, with huge margin from the top of the sheet, showing two complete manuscript cancellations of Abejorral, still preserving part of its original gum. Slight soiling and large thin impinging on the lower right adhesive resulting in a tear which has been sealed with thin paper on reverse, as well as two further minor thins, of no consequence for this important item. Illustrated on page 23 of Dr. Gene Scott's Colombian States handbook. The largest multiple and only block known of this denomination, one of the reference items of Antioquia. Cert. Bortfeldt.
