1856, 80 c. green, four unused copies in three different shades showing specific flaws which are not common (i.e. mutually exclusive) to the other values, supporting the theory that the higher value stamps were printed from separate stones prepared using transfers of the original 60 c. stone. Pos. 3 featuring colourless line in centre left border, pos. 5 showing high crooked ''0'' of ''80'', pos. 16 with broken ''0'' of ''80'' and pos. 29 featuring flaw in top right spandrel. Three copies with tiny thin spot, a fault very often encountered in this issue. Ciardi 2, 2a; Yv 2, 2a.
