| Descrizione |
1859, 2 1/2 c. green, two copies with clear to mostly large margins, together with 10 c. buff, large margins except for being touched at left, each adhesive being seperately cancelled by manuscript ''Bar'', ''baco'' & ''as'' syllables which form the name of the locality of dispatch, on 12 October 1859 entire letter from Barbacoas to Pasto, with the franking required to cover a single weight postage up to 10 gr. for a distance between 150 and 450 km. (190 km. in this case). A great postal history item as one of only two covers in existence bearing the 2 1/2 c. adhesive, thus being an important item since this was the first stamp issued in Colombian philately. The early usage of this entire gives it an added rarity factor. Cert. Bortfeldt. Scott 1, 4a; Yv 1, 4a. Ex Frohlich.
