1859, 60 c. grey, a stunning block of 48, alternating two types per each horizontal row including 19-20 / 1-2 / 3-4 / 5-6 / 7-8 / 9-10 / 11-12 / 13-14, including two incomplete transfer blocks of 20, roughly severed at left but with clear to large margins, being large to huge on the other three sides. Originating from the same sheet as the second largest multiple known which was offered as lot 1560 in our previous sale on 26 September 2009, both multiples vertically fitting each other, although only this multiple possessing original gum. Small surface rubbing affecting three adhesives and some creases expected to be encountered in such a large multiple. The third largest multiple of this value. Cert. Hernández Rocha.
