1859, 20 c. grey blue, stone B, clear to huge margins displaying a scarce shade, tied to cover to Bucaramanga by superb strike of ''Purificacion./Franca.'' oval handstamp. As the distance between the two locations was more than 450 km., the single weight postage rate payable was 20c. In visually superb condition, this cover can be regarded as one of the finest 20 c. single franking covers in existence, further enhanced by being the very scarce shade as well as the only postal history example known with this cancellation in the classic period.
