1857, 10 k. brown and blue, an exceptional corner copy with large to enormous margins, of great freshness displaying a vivid strong colour, cancelled by manuscript cross on cover from Archangelsk to St. Petersburg, showing on reverse two-lines handstamp on departure dated February 19 1858. An extremely rare usage of a corner copy on cover, which is in outstanding condition. A striking exhibition item. Mi 1. Ex Mertens.
