1857, 10 k. brown and blue, an impressive marginal copy from the bottom of the sheet, showing large to enormous sheet margins at base (5 mm), cancelled by manuscript cross on cover from St. Petersburg to Riga, with red framed ''S.P. Burg/21 Jan. 1858'' handstamp at bottom left, displaying receipt ''Polucheno'' handstamp on back. An outstanding item bearing a marginal copy which are very rare used on cover, of striking visual appeal, with the added significance of being a scarce early usage in the first month of issue.
