1857, 10 k. brown and blue, good margins all around, slight natural buckling at bottom left caused when originally affixed to cover, tied by very fine strike of red ''Dinaburg'' cds dated 17 June 1858, on cover to Riga, with a further two-lines datestamp applied on reverse on departure, with framed ''Polucheno'' handstamp of receipt alongside. An extremely rare usage of a circular handstamp in red, this only being in service from April to June. Just two covers are recorded bearing this cancellation, the other coming from the Mikulski collection. One of the most significant and visually impressive usages of the ''Number One''. Signed Friedl. Mi 1. Ex Fabergé and Gibson.
