1857, 10 k. brown and blue, wide to large margins for the most part, on cover to Mühlenhoff, neatly cancelled by ''Illukst'' straight-line (Kurland Province), matching red ''Illukst Otprav'' and 29 March 1858 date in two-lines handstamp applied at base, with framed ''Polucheno'' marking of Riga. Filing fold and few small tone spots to cover, not impinging on the franking and not detracting from the very attractive combination of colours and handstamp types. Probably a unique usage on cover of this pre-adhesive period cancellation from a small locality. Mi 1.
