1856, 5 kop. dark blue, small pearls, the ''Ferrary'' mint tête-bêche block of four, exhibiting clear to mostly large margins after having been cut into eight even shapes, graced by a good impression and rich shade, with original gum. A faint creasing and somewhat aged staining, a minute thin speck at bottom left and small surface rubbing at top left, none of which are of significance for this extraordinary rarity. Illustrated on page 41 of ''Encyclopaedia of Rare and Famous Stamps'' Vol. II by L. N. Williams. A gem of Finnish philately with only five items recorded, this being one of the finest which was the only one of this denomination gracing the Ferrary collection, and belonging to the restricted group of the most spectacular tête-bêches of this country, which are of special significance in European philately as well. Certs. Tuori and Gummesson. Facit 1IaV3. Ex Ferrary and Hind.
