1895, July 7. 2 c. postal stationery card to Buenos Aires up-franked with ''Escudos'' 1 c. green-blue tied by San José cds. The routing reveals the generally poor connections of Costa Rica with countries other than USA: on reverse Panamanian ''Transito/Colón'', then Barbados cds (July 27th), Rio de Janeiro cds (Aug 31st!) and arrival.
