1871, ''Escuelas'' Issue, 50 r. yellow-green, first printing, exhibiting a fine impression, a remarkable pair possessing clear to ample margins, unused without gum with manuscript marks on reverse due this multiple being affixed onto either a cover or a document but not being cancelled. Very slight staining in margin at left, not detracting. Unused pairs of this, the highest denomination of this issue, are very scarce and most desirable. Cert. Holcombe. Scott 36.
