Envelope to Lietusburg, Washington Co., Mass., (United States), franked by 1871 10 c. blue, tied by large numeral ''22'' oval handstamp with framed ''Yzabal'' postmark at left, displaying ''Correos de Guatemala/Paquetes'' cds (27 July) in red applied in transit on reverse. ''N.Y./U.S. Currency'' 10 c. due arrival cds dated September 8th. The rate for mail addressed to the United States was reduced from 20 c. to 10 c. at the end of January 1872. Stamp affected by imperfections in right-hand corners, nevertheless the only first issue cover in existence exhibiting these postmarks from Yzabal. Cert. Moorhouse. Scott 3. Ex Speycher.
