Envelope from Veracruz to Portolín (Spain), bearing Mexico 10 c. black (Veracruz, 50-74), tied by Veracruz cds, in combination with France 10 c. bistre on rose and strip of three of 30 c., all cancelled by anchor lozenge matching Consular ''Mexique/1-1'' datestamp alongside with ''Ligne-B/Paq Fr/N° 2'' cds on back, being carried by the ''Ville de St. Nazaire'' to St. Nazaire and then conveyed to Santander (Spain). Backstamped on receipt. Some soiling and other minor imperfections, barely detracting from this rare combination cover which includes a most unusual French franking makeup to cover the single rate, which corresponds to a prepaid letter of 10 grams.
