1839, March 8. Entire letter from Yllapel to Santiago, with manuscript ''2'' reales denoting payment of single postage, with very fine ''Cuzcuz'' straight-line handstamp in black. One of the most desirable handstamps in the pre-adhesive period, with only this cover known bearing this type in black, according to the Álvaro Pacheco research. Unlisted in this colour in the SFC catalogue. Ex Marticorena and Blank.
