Entire letter endorsed ''Via Southampton'' bearing stunning franking of 1 s. green strip of four, two strips of three and two singles, all tied by London duplexes paying the 13 s. rate, alongside with ''II'' (reales) charged on delivery. Entire letter (part of upper flap missing) endorsed 'Via Ostend' to St. Petersburg franked at double rate with 1 d. red stars, 4 d. rose, 6 d. lilac and 1 s. green tied by London numerals, alongside with circled 'p' and 'Aus England per Aachen' transit tieing three of the adhesives.
