Registered cover to Montevideo bearing spectacular marginal block of ten of 10 c. green and single 5 c. vermilion, cancelled by oval ''Certificado'' of Paraná, with further two strikes repeated at top and Paraná cds with Maltese cross. Annotated as received inside. Hinge reinforcements at bottom edge of cover, of no importance. The largest multiple recorded of this 10 c. denomination. Recorded in Kneitschel catalogue under 'notable pieces' as the most valuable cover of the American Bank Note issues.
