1857, 1 c. blue and 3 c. dull red pair and single, used on cover to Montreal, each showing ''25'' manuscript cancel, backstamped 27th March 1858, then dated again on the 29th with each stamp being over-cancelled by Montreal ''21'' in concentric circles. Some imperfections to franking, nevertheless a scarce and interesting cross-border usage with the absence of exchange markings. Cert. Philatelic Foundation. Scott 22, 26. Ex Piller.
