1867-68, 1/2 r. blue, an impressive marginal copy with complete margin sheet and plate frame line at left, just touched at base, otherwise large margins, tied by hexagon of pearls of Ambato on judicial wrapper to Quito, endorsed ''Civiles'' denoting non-official mail paying the single parcel rate per 1 oz (''1oz'' manuscript). A scarce marginal copy being tied by an unusual cancellation. Scott 2. Ex Funkhouser.
