1843, 60 r. black, intermediate impression, pair displaying clear to large margins except for being just touched at right and having a small portion of paper lacking at upper left corner just touching the frame line, used to pay the single internal maritime per 1/2 ounce, cleanly tied by ''Correio Geral Da Corte'' cds on 26 April 1844 entire letter from Rio de Janeiro to Rio Grande. Some tone spots of which one impinges onto one example at upper right side of the pair, as well as some minor edge imperfections to cover.
