1867-68, 1 /2 r. blue, two copies showing dark blue and light blue shades respectively, possessing clear to mostly large margins, paying a double-weight internal cover up to 1/2 oz from Ambato to Quito, tied by Ambato cds (29 November). A very rare franking including two copies of the same value in quite distinct shades. Cert. Moorhouse. Scott 2.
