1862, 4 r. dull rose and yellow (Mexico), creased before use and tied by indistinct handstamp, covering the triple rate from Mexico City to Veracruz on cover addressed to Paris, carried by ''Floride'' steamer with matching superb strike of elusive ''Mexique/15 Juil 62/Floride'' octagonal datestamp (Salles 1315) applied on back, showing blue ''Mexique/1-1'' datestamp (Salles 1.361) and ''8'' decimes due marking on front.
