Entire letter from Montevideo to Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), with ''1/-'' in manuscript denoting payment of British packet rate, showing very fine ''Paid/At/Montevideo'' crowned circle, with some of the contents relating to diplomatic matters. One of about ten covers recorded with this postmark, this being addressed to a most unusual destination. SG CC1. Ex Parmigiani.
