1856, Nov. 6. entire letter from Montevideo to Rio de Janeiro, bearing clearly struck''Paid/At/Montevideo'' crown circle, with British double arc on reverse, magenta ''1/-'' paid, carried by RMSP ''Tamar'', dropping off the letter at Rio on 14th November. Very fine and scarce. SG CC1.
